Hunter

Hunter is truly a special dog. He is a young (1-year old), very big boy weighing in at 85lbs. Understandably, that is intimidating to many. However, he is the friendliest, most loving boy ever, who yeah, may knock you over in his excited exuberance to be up-close and personal with you, but in the next minute will be lying on the floor next to you while you are sitting at your desk.

We have yet to find anyone that Hunter has not immediately loved and wanted to be best friends with. He is just a goofy, happy, loving pup that so desperately needs to be part of a family, one that can appreciate just how special he is. While Hunter is fine hanging with you a good part of the day, he does need a bit of space to just explore, run and work off some energy. (he is a Shepherd/Border Collie mix after all).

The amazing things about Hunter: Everyone he meets is his new best friend, cool just chilling in the yard supervising the happenings for a period, but also fine sleeping on his bed in the office with you, a very good overnight sleeper, not a picky eater, dog friendly, people friendly, kid friendly, an excellent traveler/car rider, super smart and fast learner. He pees for like 5-minutes standing in one spot and then has no need for bushes and fire hydrants. The other things… He is big, he is strong, he thinks he is a lap dog, he is a bit unaware of his body size, and he is going to want you to know he loves you…really that’s it!!! Hunter is UTD on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
