Rudy

While Rudy hasn’t had his own DNA test yet, his identical-looking brother was tested and came back as 50% Australian Shepherd, so we expect Rudy’s mix to be very similar and place him in the Australian Shepherd / Malinois / German Shepherd group.

Rudy is a ball of energy with a big personality. He loves to play and enjoys the company of other dogs, though he definitely likes to be in charge. While he’s a bit smaller than some of his siblings, he more than holds his own and keeps up just fine.

Rudy is also a total cuddle bug who loves attention and being close to his people. He can take a little longer than his siblings to warm up to new people, but once he does, he’s completely devoted. Like his brothers and sisters, Rudy is playful, curious, cuddly, and always sweet and loving.

Rudy is an active dog who will need daily exercise and regular activity to stay happy and balanced. He enjoys splashing in the kiddie pools but isn’t quite as water-obsessed as some of his siblings.

He is curious about the goats at the rescue but has shown no aggression, and he’s shown little interest in the chickens when they’re in their coop. Rudy has not been tested with cats and does have some prey drive, so a cat-free home may be the best fit.

Rudy is potty trained, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, and fully ready to head home.
